Interest in radio began in 1965. Grew up hanging around a TV/Radio repair shop. Enlisted in the Air Force in 1973 and worked as a Ground Radio Repairman-30454. Worked at a MARS station (AIA8NP) in NKP Thailand where I worked DX from the 'other side'. Been ham since 1980. Enjoy Freemasonry and am working on becoming a certified lecturer. PM of Hominy Lodge # 491 in Candler, NC where I was Initiated, Passed and Raised in 1984. Master, 2004. Active in the Western Carolina Amateur Radio Society as webmaster for www.wcars.org, Hamfest Chairman and 40 Meter Band Captain for Field Day for W4MOE.
